We will not condone agents of disunity in our region - Northern Elders

Northern elders in Nigeria have warned those fanning the embers of disunity in the country to immediately desist from it. Under the Northern Elders Forum, the leaders in the region said Nigeria cannot break-up and that they were committed to this unity which started since 1914. While cautioning against the quit notice issued to Igbo people in the north, they also described those agitating for secession as agents of disunity.

Abia state leads again in nationwide WAEC results

A report by Scan News indicates that Abia state recorded the best result in the recently concluded 2017 WAEC examination. This is the 3rd year in a row that Abia is coming first since taking over from Anambra. Interestingly, Abia is also the number one in science education in Nigeria based on the statistics available.

The Defence Headquarters has said that “lack of appropriate marking’’ caused the mistaken air strike by the Nigerian Air Force on Rann in Borno, where a number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were killed.

Nigeria to export 400 locally made vehicles to Mali

The Charge‘d Affair of Nigera in Mali, Yara Abdulsalam, says an indigenous motor manufacturing company, Innoson Motors, has signed MoU with a Malian firm to export 400 locally made vehicles to Mali.
